THEATRE PRODUCTIONS, PERFORMANCES, AUTHORIAL AND CROSS-OVER PROJECTS OF DIRECTOR PETRA TEJNOROVÁ AND HER PRODUCTION TEAM

18 – 19.9.2012 timINg on NEW STAGE National Theatre

The concert for 8 dancers and orchestra is a probe into the New Stage building and the inner world of individual dancers, with the orchestra present on the stage, while the time is counted by 100 metronomes and one minute may seem like an eternity…

The initial impulse for the origination of the joint project of the BERG Orchestra, Dekka Dancers, the National Theatre Ballet and the New Stage bearing the title timINg were György Ligeti’s Poème symphonique for 100 metronomes and Ramifications, Aaron Copland’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra and Louis Andriessen’s Dances.
